Statistics: Russia’s inflation accelerates to 0.14% Jul 4–Mon
MOSCOW, Jul 12 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation accelerated to 0.14% from July 4 through Monday from 0.13% a week earlier, and reached 2.97% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
Fruit and vegetables prices increased by 0.4% on average. Cabbage prices rose by 6.6%, potato by 3.3%, apple by 2.2%, beet by 1.2%, carrot 0.6%. Prices for cucumbers decreased 5.3%, onions 4.7%, bananas 2.8%, tomatoes 1.3%.
Tea prices fell by 0.8%, baby preserves of fruit and berries by 0.5%, sunflower seed oil by 0.4%. Sugar prices rose by 0.8%, chicken meat by 0.5%, pork, smoked sausages and rice by 0.4%.
Gasoline prices rose 0.4%, the diesel fuel ones 0.1%.
